From this thread on the forums @ WiredNewYork.com: A fantastic collection of photos from the 1800′s and early 1900′s. I love old photos like this, you can almost smell the grit and horse manure. They also make me feel very lucky to live in a time with such diverse fashion. Look at all those Bowler hats!
